About the designer

L’impasse NYC start 22 years ago.

From France Abdul Sall began his career in 1996 at L’impasse boutique at the west village. As security guard at 18 years old with little English.

A year later, he started working closely with the owner of the boutique assisting him, buying fabric and learning how to run a business.

In 2009, he took over the store and made it a brand by changing the whole look adding his touch of elegance and finesse.

His work payed of by working with the biggest stylist and personality like Rihanna, Beyonce and Lady Gaga.

2018, Abdul Sall met his actual director artistic with the same fashion state of mind and realized that the right time for him to grow and change the image of L’impasse NYC and have his own brand Abdul Sall couture.

 

Elodie Kalombo

 Just twenty five years old when she was named creative director in 2018.

Elodie Kalombo is French.

She came to the United States at 23 years Old with her own business, started working with Abdul Sall on his brand one year later.

She added her fresh vision of fashion, ambition and inspiration to the brand.

Elodie, used Mr Sall’s incredible finesse in her contemporary crazy univers. 

With this collaboration the brand can be where it’s supposed to be
